Bobby Shmurda Set To Be Released From Prison Today

Bobby Shmurda is set to be released from prison in New York today (February 23).
The New York rapper, who turned out to be broadly known in 2014 for his hit song ‘Hot N***a’, was sentenced to seven years in jail in October 2016 subsequent to pleading guilty to conspiracy and weapons ownership as a feature of a request bargain.

Shmurda, whose real name is Ackquille Pollard, was denied parole back in September. He was ordered to carry out his most extreme punishment (December 11, 2021) in jail.

The New York Times announced a month ago that a new survey by the Department of Corrections reestablished Shmurda’s credit for “acceptable institutional conduct”, guaranteeing that he was qualified for conditional release Tuesday, February 23, 2021.

Ahead of his release, a video was posted on the Brooklyn rapper’s Instagram account Monday, February 22, to foresee his return.

Shmurda in like manner expressed gratitude toward his fans “for remaining loyal” all through his sentence in a message posted on his Instagram Story.
“I love you all and look forward to seeing you all soon,” he added.

Following his conditional release, Shmurda will be on parole until 2026.

Upon his arrival, Migos rapper Quavo will be close by to get him from jail, as indicated by Billboard.

“I’m going to get my guy,” said Quavo. “I’m personally gonna go pick up Bobby Shmurda. I’m bout to go get him. I’m gonna let him show you how I’m gonna pick him up, yessir.”

Legendary Broadcaster Sadiq Daba Is Dead

After a long battle over the years with a terminal disease, ace broadcaster and Veteran Actor Sadiq Daba has finally given up the Ghost.

The veteran broadcaster and actor, died yesterday evening after a long battle with leukemia and prostate cancer. His death has been confirmed by filmmaker Kunle Afolayan with whom he worked recently on the 2020 motion picture, Citation. According to Afolayan, the ace broadcaster died on the evening of Wednesday, March 3rd.
