Davido shared a short clip of the first single from his next album, which is titled “Stand Strong.” Below is everything we know about this new song.

1) Davido teamed up with The Samples Choir, a vocal group that can sing in different styles, from classical to hip-hop, with Jason White as the choir director. The group is also behind Kanye West’s Sunday Service movement.

2) Stand Strong will be release in all streaming platforms on Friday, May 13th, 2022.

3) This track is entirely different from Davido’s other songs. It speaks more to the heart than to the body. “This one is special to me. It’s different. The conception has been different. The mindset has been different. The making has been different. I know you love it when I make you dance, but now I want to make you feel,” the award-winning singer says.

4) “Stand Strong” discloses Davido’s struggles, behind the scenes people don’t see, regardless of his wealthy background. “The part where every day is a battle but I have no option but to STAND STRONG,” he says
