Somkele Idhalama’s Big Surprise!
Somkele Idhalama and her husband are adding another child to their brood!
The Nollywood actress revealed the news in the most surprising way ever: by uploading a headshot of herself on Instagram with a caption, “It’s the shoulder details for me…😏… actually I lied, it’s everything for me 🤫”
A week later, she is posting photos with the same outfit showing her baby bump with a caption, “Just thought I’d share the full outfit since I was so obsessed with the shoulder detail😉… 🤰”
In the black and white maternity photos, Somkele is seen putting on a white silk wrap gown and sitting pretty on a chair.
This would be Somkele’s second child with her husband who both got married in 2014. They welcomed their first child, a boy, that same year. Big congratulations to the couple!
Throwback Legend Personality – Hilda Dokubo
If you remember the days when nollywood was still at its infant stage, Hilda Dokubo was one of the screen divas as at that time that got people glued to their TV set. She is known for playing tragic roles in her movies and tears doesn’t hold up much on her pretty face. Today Almaplusblog celebrate this icon as our throwback legend.
Hilda Dokubo is a Nigerian award-winning[ film actress, activist and youth advocate who once served as special adviser on youth affairs to Peter Odili, a former governor of Rivers State.
Hilda Dokubo was born as the first of six children in Buguma, a town in Asari-Toru, Rivers State where she went on to complete her primary and secondary school education at St Mary State School Aggrey Road and Government Girls Secondary School respectively Her father was an engineer, while her mother was a school teacher . She is an alumna of the University of Port Harcourt where she earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degrees in Theatre Arts.
Dokubo made her screen debut during her youth service in a 1992 film titled Evil Passion. She has since been featured in, and has produced several Nigerian films.including Gone Forever, End of the Wicked, My Goodwill, and The CEO Upon starring in a supporting role in a 2015 film titled Stigma, Dokubo won Best Actress in a Supporting Role and best actress in the comedy category 11th Africa Movie Academy Awards. In 2019, she featured in the movie Locked, a story about mental health awareness She founded and runs a non-governmental organization, the Centre for Creative Arts Education (CREATE), which deploys the creative arts to empower women and the youth.
Chief Daddy 2 Officially Wraps Filming As Producer Mo Abudu Shares Set Photos
Chief Daddy 2 has officially wrapped its filming as posted by the producer and CEO of Ebonylife Films, Mo Abudu. She revealed this in an Instagram post, Tuesday, June 15, 2021.
Writing a long epistle relating to the just concluded filming, the movie producer and media entrepreneur shared set photos of some of the moments from the movie shoot— cast and crew members. She wrote:

Sharing a few pictures with you from Chief Daddy 2 set in Dubai and the wrap dinner, hosted by Dubai Tourism. Well it’s now officially a wrap on Chief Daddy 2, from Lagos to Dubai with love ❤️❤️💃💃.
